Ok, we have numerous activities that will be going on in the next couple of weeks. Here is a quick rundown of them and they have also been posted in the sidebar under the appropriate heading. Make plans now to participate and grow!
Aug. 14 - Our church will have a table set up at the Seminary's Campus Life fair to let the seminary family know what is going on at our church and invite them to join us.
Aug. 19 - BAGNO will be having a "yellow hat training" for Disaster Relief from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. If you are interested in being trained to aid in disaster relief, contact Freddie Arnold (282-1428) by Aug. 16th.
Aug. 20 - Travis will be leading a Bible Study Teacher Training at 5:30 in the church sanctuary. If you are a Bible Study teacher now, or will be this upcoming new year, please attend. You are sure to learn some new "stuff" to help with your teaching.
Aug. 25 - 5:00 pm, Prayer rally in anticipation of the Ann Graham Lotz Ladies Conference at the New Orleans Arena
Aug. 26 - 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Ann Graham Lotz Ladies Conference at the New Orleans Arena. If you would be interested in helping with carpooling to the conference, please contact the church office and let Shirley know how many people your car can hold.
Aug. 20 - Deadline to register for Ridgecrest on the River. If you are interested, see Nita Beecher or Travis. The cost is $10.
Sept. 9 - Ridgecrest on the River at FBC New Orleans.
Sept. 10 - All Sunday Night Bible Study start from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. The classes that will be initially offered are: Share Jesus Without Fear (taught by Ronnie McLellan), Just Give Me Jesus (taught by Sharmain Hughes and Debbie Beeler), and The Purpose Driven Life (taught by Travis Wright). If you are interested in any of these studies, please see the teacher to let them know.
